Why We Built This
Getting honest towing information should not be this hard. If you have ever searched “how much does towing cost” or tried to figure out your truck's towing capacity, you know the frustration. The top results are either ads, outdated forums, or content farms that rehash the same vague ranges without citing a single source.
TowingServiceHub exists to fix that. We built a free resource where cost estimates list the sources they are based on, towing capacity specs are checked against the manufacturer's own documentation, and every guide is written to actually answer your question, not just rank for a keyword. We also run a directory of 7,573 towing companies across all 50 states and DC, so you can go from reading about a tow to finding one.

I have always been fascinated by trucks. Growing up, I was the kid pointing out every tow truck on the highway, asking my dad why some had flatbeds and others had wheel lifts. That curiosity stuck with me, and years later when I needed a tow myself, I was genuinely shocked at how hard it was to get a straight answer on what it should cost.
I spent hours comparing prices and truck specs across dozens of inconsistent sources, none of which could tell me where their numbers actually came from. As someone who works in enterprise technology by day, I kept thinking: this data exists, someone just needs to organize it properly.
So I built TowingServiceHub. Cost estimates list the sources they come from. Towing capacity specs are checked against the manufacturer's own manual. Articles are drafted with AI assistance, and I edit and review every one before it goes live. When we get something wrong, we correct it and say so.
When I am not working on TowingServiceHub, I am probably on a tennis court somewhere. I am completely obsessed with the game, and my actual dream is to spend a summer in Europe doing nothing but playing tennis. Outside of that, I read way too much about emerging technology, and I am slowly coming to terms with the fact that my friends will never find towing logistics as interesting as I do.

Display advertising: Most pages show ads served by Journey by Mediavine, a third-party ad network. Ads are selected by the network, not by us, and may be personalized using cookies. See our privacy policy for how to opt out.
Towing referral calls: City and state pages show a phone number operated by a third-party towing referral service. TowingServiceHub may be paid when you call it, and the call may not reach the companies listed on that page.
Lead referrals: When you submit a quote request form, we share your request with towing providers and lead-distribution partners who may contact you, and we may be paid for that referral. The consent text on the form lists who may contact you before you submit.
Affiliate links: Some articles contain affiliate links to products and services. If you click and purchase, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you.
Directory listings: All company listings are currently free, and no company pays to rank higher. If we ever offer paid or featured placements, they will be clearly labeled.

How Our Directory Works

Where listings come from
Listings are compiled from public Google Business Profile data (collected through a third-party data provider) plus an automated crawl of each company's own website. Company descriptions and service tags are summaries of that website content written with AI assistance. They describe what a company says about itself and are not endorsements.
How current the data is
The directory data was compiled in 2026 and is refreshed periodically. Hours, phone numbers, service areas, and services offered can change at any time, so confirm the details directly with the company before you rely on them.
We do not verify licensing or insurance
TowingServiceHub does not verify licenses, insurance, certifications, or pricing for any listed company. Being listed is not a recommendation. Ask for proof of licensing and insurance and get the price in writing before you authorize a tow.
Paid placement and referral calls
All listings are currently free and no company pays to rank higher. City and state pages also show a phone number for a third-party towing referral service; calls to that number are handled by the referral service, may not reach the companies listed on the page, and TowingServiceHub may be compensated for them. If we ever offer paid or featured placements, they will be clearly labeled as such.
