Privacy Policy

We collect information you voluntarily provide through our contact form (name, email address, message content) and our quote request forms (name, phone number, email address, location, service needed, vehicle details, and a record of your consent).

We and our partners also collect information automatically through cookies, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies: IP address, browser type, device information and device identifiers, approximate location, pages visited, time spent on pages, clicks and other interactions, and referring URLs. Section 4 lists who collects this information and why.

We use your information to respond to your inquiries submitted through the contact form, to connect quote requests with towing providers and lead-distribution partners (see Section 5), to show advertising that helps keep the site free (including personalized advertising, unless you opt out), to analyze site traffic and usage patterns to improve our content and user experience, to document consent given on our lead forms, to detect and prevent spam, fraud, or abuse, and to comply with legal obligations.

When you submit a quote request form on TowingServiceHub, you consent to receive both phone calls (including autodialed calls and calls delivering prerecorded or artificial voice messages) and SMS text messages from TowingServiceHub, our matched tow operators and roadside-assistance providers, and our lead distribution network partners (which may include third-party affiliate networks and their clients) at the phone number you provide. This consent applies to calls and messages related to your service request as well as related towing and roadside follow-up communications.

a. Consent: By checking the consent box on our quote request forms, you expressly consent to receive these calls and messages. Your consent is not a condition of using TowingServiceHub or obtaining any service.

b. Message frequency: Message frequency varies based on your service request. You may receive 1–5 messages per quote request.

c. Opt-out: You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive. After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message and no further texts. To opt out of phone calls, request the caller place you on their internal Do Not Call list, or email [email protected] with "REVOKE CONSENT" in the subject line.

d. Revocation: You may revoke consent for both calls and texts at any time by emailing [email protected]. We will process revocation requests within 10 business days.

e. Help: Reply HELP to any text message for support, or contact us at [email protected].

f. Rates: Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. TowingServiceHub is not responsible for any charges from your carrier.

g. Carriers: SMS services are supported on major US carriers including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

h. Consent records: We retain a record of your consent (including timestamp, IP address, and the consent text shown) for 48 months from the date of submission to comply with applicable law and our partner network requirements.

TowingServiceHub uses cookies and similar technologies from the following providers. Some are set by us and some are set by third parties who may combine information collected on our site with information collected on other websites.

a. Advertising — Journey by Mediavine: Our site shows programmatic display ads served by Journey by Mediavine and its advertising partners. Mediavine and its partners use cookies, pixels, device identifiers, IP address, and browsing information to select and personalize ads (including ads based on your activity across other sites), limit how often you see an ad, measure ad performance, and prevent ad fraud. b. Grow by Mediavine: We use Grow, a Mediavine tool that provides on-site engagement features (such as saving or recommending content). Grow may use cookies and similar technologies to operate these features and measure engagement.

c. Google Analytics 4: We use GA4 to understand how visitors use our site (pages viewed, session duration, traffic sources, device and approximate location). See how Google uses information from sites that use its services. You can opt out with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

d. PostHog: We use PostHog product analytics to understand how visitors use our pages, tools, and forms (for example, pages viewed, clicks, and form interactions), which may use cookies or local storage. See PostHog's privacy policy.

e. TrustedForm (ActiveProspect): Our site loads ActiveProspect's TrustedForm script to certify consent given on our quote request forms. When you interact with a lead form, TrustedForm records information such as the page, date and time, your IP address and browser, and the consent language shown and how you interacted with it, and creates a consent certificate that we and our lead partners may rely on.

f. Essential cookies: We also use cookies and local storage that are required for basic site functionality and security.

How to opt out of personalized ads: You can opt out of interest-based advertising from participating companies at optout.aboutads.info and YourAdChoices.com, by enabling Global Privacy Control in your browser (see Section 8), or by blocking or deleting cookies in your browser settings. Opting out does not remove ads; you will still see ads, but they will be less tailored to you. Opt-outs are generally stored in a cookie, so they apply only to the browser and device you use and may need to be repeated if you clear your cookies.

a. Quote requests: We share lead form submissions (name, email, phone, service needed, location, vehicle details, and your consent record) with: (i) relevant tow operators and roadside-assistance providers in the user's area, and/or (ii) lead distribution networks and partners that connect drivers with service providers. TowingServiceHub may be paid for these referrals. Networks and partners may further distribute your information to their own approved service company clients. We do not control how these third parties subsequently use the information once it is delivered to them.

b. Towing referral phone line: City and state pages display a phone number operated by a third-party towing referral service, and TowingServiceHub may be compensated for calls to it. If you call that number, the referral service and the providers it connects you with will receive your phone number and call information, and the call may be recorded or monitored by them, under their own privacy practices.

c. Advertising and analytics partners: As described in Section 4, Journey by Mediavine and its advertising partners, Grow, Google, and PostHog receive information collected through cookies and similar technologies on our site.

d. Service providers: Vercel (website hosting and performance), Neon (database hosting), ImageKit (image delivery and optimization), Resend (contact form email delivery), and ActiveProspect TrustedForm (consent certification) process information on our behalf.

e. Legal and business transfers: We may disclose information when required by law or to protect our rights, and in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

Each third party has its own privacy policy governing its data practices.

a. Lead form data (quote requests), including your consent record, is retained for 48 months from the date of submission to comply with TCPA consent record-keeping requirements imposed by applicable law and our lead distribution network partners.

Contact form submissions (non-lead inquiries) are retained for 12 months to allow us to follow up on inquiries. Analytics data is retained for 14 months as configured in our Google Analytics 4 property. You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at [email protected].

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose; to access and correct it; to request deletion of your personal information; to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information; and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Residents of other states with consumer privacy laws may have similar rights.

To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request, and we will respond within 45 days. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf.

Effective January 1, 2026, the updated CCPA/CPRA regulations include provisions for automated decision-making technology (ADMT). TowingServiceHub does not use ADMT for profiling or decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

We do not sell personal information for money in the ordinary sense. However, under California and other state privacy laws, two of our practices may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information: (1) allowing Journey by Mediavine and its advertising partners to collect identifiers (such as cookie IDs, device identifiers, and IP address) and browsing activity on our site for cross-context behavioral (personalized) advertising, and (2) providing quote request information to lead-distribution partners who may compensate us.

How to opt out:

a. Email [email protected] with “Do Not Sell or Share” in the subject line.

b. Turn on Global Privacy Control (GPC) in a supporting browser or extension. We treat a GPC signal as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for that browser, as required by California, Colorado, Connecticut, Montana, Texas, Oregon, Delaware, and New Hampshire privacy laws.

c. Use the industry opt-out tools and browser settings described in Section 4 to limit personalized advertising.

We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16.

TowingServiceHub is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

TowingServiceHub is operated from the United States. If you are accessing our site from outside the US, please be aware that your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
