Established in 1965 by Bill McAdoo as McAdoo's Auto Wrecking, the company has operated for over 50 years. The business expanded in the early 1980s when the family opened McAdoo's Sunoco Service Center in West Alexander, PA, increasing their tow truck fleet. After the Sunoco station closed in the early 1990s, they focused on towing and auto wrecking, adding cranes to their service line. The company discontinued its salvage yard operations in 2012. McAdoo's offers light-duty and heavy-duty towing, crane service, equipment hauling, oil and gas well service, roadside assistance, lockouts, jumpstarts, fuel delivery, flat tire service, winch-outs, rotator service, and accident recovery. The company provides 24/7 emergency services with dispatchers available around the clock. They operate two locations in Claysville and West Alexander, with office hours Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
