SafeSea

Safe/Sea is a marine assistance company providing on-the-water boat towing and marine salvage services for recreational boaters in Rhode Island waters. The family-owned and operated company has been serving the local boating community since 1985 and maintains several thousand members. Safe/Sea operates a fleet of custom-built and purpose-built rescue towboats stationed in Narragansett Bay, Point Judith, and Block Island, making it the only company to keep vessels on station in all three locations. The company offers 24-hour dispatch service and serves as the exclusive boat towing provider for BoatUS members in Rhode Island. Safe/Sea captains have over one hundred years of combined experience, with each captain having personally conducted thousands of tows. The company offers three membership tiers ranging from $175 to $224 annually, including services such as free towing, jumpstarts, fuel delivery, and coverage for disabled vessels. Elite membership includes free towing from home docks or moorings to haul-out or repair facilities up to 20 nautical miles within the coverage area.
